Here is a catch all post for permissions with Mairon's powers and how they might affect your character. Because of reasons and such.


Mairon's powers (pulled from his app):

Skills and Powers:

Abilities: shape shifting, mind reading (or like.. telepathy but not really because its more like sharing than reading), existing without a body (and the ability to craft a new body with said spirit), magical abilities that are vague as all hell (he imbues rings with his will, okay, he is also known for crating 'phantoms', being a sorcerer, creating illusions and other fun magical things), mad smithing skills, a way with languages, and a way with werewolves. No really, he was Lord of the Werewolves...

Power Limitations:
Shape shifting: limited and probably to that of his fairer, man-like forms (nothing over 8 feet either, because, y'know, library. Though I would like it if he could still, on occasions, be a giant bat.

Mind Reading: limited through a permission's post. Or just null it, I don't care about this one as much.

Existing sans body: uh, I think this one is up to you guys. Like, can his astral self just float around the books? Yes? No? Maybe a little? He promises not to light them on fire.

Magical abilities: Perhaps retaining some ability to create illusions in those that are experiencing great fear or have a weaker will (done through permissions post).

So, basically, let me know if it is totally cool (or not cool) for Mairon to be screwing your shit up. Yes. Not that he would, because he is a lovely, peaceful, awesome Maia and all...
